Ellen M. Soukup - Age 79

Ellen M. Soukup passed away on February 11th, 2025 with her children and grandchildren by her side. She was born on April 26th, 1945 in Derby, CT to David and Regina (Sheehy) McDermott.

Ellen is survived by her sons, Charles Soukup, Joseph Soukup and his wife Maki, and her daughter, Christine Hosking. Her granddaughter Ciara Hosking and fiancé Michael Pinto, and her grandson Timothy Ozzi. Her great grandchildren Malcolm and Theodore Pinto. Her sister Regina McDermott.

She loved to take her family camping and made many fond memories for her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted, loving, generous, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She lived her life for her family and will be missed dearly. Ellen lived her life as woman of faith and was a longtime member of the Dolgeville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She is predeceased by her parents, and her grandson Corben Soukup.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 679 Brockett Road Dolgeville, NY on Saturday February 22, 2025
at 2pm.
